Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 29, 2025

Company: Shi Ling SDN BHD

1. Introduction

Shi Ling SDN BHD ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Inventory Cloud Sync Application handles information when connecting and synchronizing data between your local server and the cloud. By using the Application, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

The Application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from users. All data handled by the Application remains within your organization’s local and cloud environments.

  • The Application only transfers inventory-related data between your local server and the cloud system.
  • No personal, sensitive, or identifiable user data is collected, monitored, or shared by the Application.

3. Account Access

Access to the Application is restricted to administrator-provided accounts. Only users authorized by your system administrator or organization are permitted to log in and use the service. We do not create, issue, or manage any public user accounts.

4. Data Security

Although the Application itself does not collect data, it facilitates secure data synchronization between your local server and the cloud. We recommend implementing the following best practices:

  • Use HTTPS/TLS for any web endpoints and APIs.
  • Harden server configurations (firewall, network access controls).
  • Rotate administrator credentials and use strong passwords or MFA where possible.
  • Keep software and dependencies up to date.

Shi Ling SDN BHD is not responsible for data security breaches arising from misconfigurations or unauthorized access on your systems.

5. Data Storage and Transmission

All synchronized data remains under the control of your organization. The Application only transfers data between your local infrastructure and the cloud instance you own or manage. No copies of data are stored, cached, or backed up by Shi Ling SDN BHD by default.

6. Third-Party Services

The Application does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or external APIs that collect user data. Any third-party platforms you integrate with (for example, cloud hosting providers) are governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your local and cloud environments.
  • Managing administrator access and credentials.
  • Ensuring compliance with your internal data governance and regulatory obligations.
